Hello! My name is Janessa, and I am so happy that we’ve crossed paths! I am a couples and small wedding photographer rooted in Colorado, but obsessed with taking pictures from all over the world. You’ll find that the pictures I take are very warm & moody, candid & so so real. Kind of like going through an old scrapbook at your parents house.

To kick things off, I wanted you to know a little bit more about who I am and why I absolutely LOVE what I do! I’m Janessa, a mom, a student, and a constantly inspired photographer. I am a healthcare professional part time, and an engagement & elopement photographer all the time!  My style is pretty moody & candid, and so incredibly emotional.
 

My journey with photography started when I made a big move half across the country from Atlanta, Georgia. Reliving our many captured moments motivated me to bring that same genuine joy that I felt to others through my photography. From time to time I love going out of my comfort zone with creative portraits and even self portraits, and the more non-traditional the better! I've enjoyed discovering new locations and gorgeous mountain views throughout Colorado for all of my clients, and I love getting to know everyone I shoot with on a personal level. Being said, I look forward to meeting you soon!
